Consider the End Product’s Requirements

• Strength and Durability: If the application requires high strength and rigidity, such as for making plastic buckets, basins, or automotive interior parts, resins like K4912 and PPH-T03 can be considered. K4912 is an injection-grade resin suitable for hard packaging of household articles, while PPH-T03 with its high crystallinity and low flow characteristics is good for bottle caps and sheets which need to maintain their shape under pressure1.
• Flexibility: For applications where flexibility is key, such as in the production of ropes, tapes, or some textile products, T30S is a common choice. It has good impact resistance and can be processed into flexible yet durable items3.
• Heat Resistance: When the product will be exposed to high temperatures, like in hot fill containers or microwaveable packaging, homopolymer PP resins such as PPH-T03 are more suitable due to their ability to withstand high heat without significant deformation.
• Cold Resistance: For applications in low-temperature environments, such as freezer storage containers or products that need to maintain their properties in cold conditions, impact copolymer PP resins like some special grades developed by Sinopec are preferred as they offer excellent impact strength even at low temperatures.
